Dr. Proof: Preelance proofreader/editor

Our Mission

To improve your written communication and give you an airtight, bulletproof, polished image through grammatically correct verbiage.

Is English your weak spot? Could your writing be better? It has been said that the words you use say a lot about you. That's true when you speak, but it's especially true when you write.

When you write — especially for public consumption — your words, punctuation, and grammar speak volumes about you. Because writing is much more permanent than speech is, you need the words you write to shine. You don't want to take the chance that typos, mistakes, and poor grammar make it to print or your website. Don't take the chance that grammatical mistakes might turn away potential clients.

If you're a public speaker you may speak well, but if your promotional material contains grammatical errors, people may not regard you in a very favorable light. And that's the last thing you want, right? Don't discount the effect of grammatical errors on people's perception of you or your business. Grammar counts, especially when you're trying to attract clients via your website and marketing material.

As author of The Mobile DJ MBA, I wanted to make sure the punctuation, grammar, sentence structure and spelling of my book were perfect before being published. Bryan Durio meticulously went over my manuscript with a "fine-tooth comb," caught the mistakes in it, and made the document ready to be printed. He also did this with a one-week turnaround time. Because Bryan did such a great job for me on this project, I plan to use "Dr. Proof" to double-check my work in connection with clients who hire me to perform marketing and copywriting services for them. I highly recommend Bryan's proofreading, copy-editing and styling services to anyone who needs to know the words they put out into the world about themselves are spot-on!
